Back to School Swap

Join for a Back to School edition Swap! Trade in your clean, wearable, in-season clothes for a wardrobe refresh. Closet Case Thrift will also have a special area for swapping bookbags, school supplies, uniforms and other school-related items!

SWAP GUIDELINES

Clothes, shoes, handbags, and accessories that you would feel good passing on to a friend or co-worker. 

Limit your items to ONE grocery or tote-sized bag (approximately 20 items). Have a ton of clothes to purge? Thoughtfully select the ones to swap this time around and either store the rest for the next swap (we have a few more in the works before the end of the year!) or bring them to donate or recycle at Closet Case Thrift!

*Please avoid or limit workout clothes, socks and underwear, basic T-shirts, and work clothes/uniforms (unless they fit some of the criteria below). These items can be donated or recycled, so please keep them separate from your swap items. 

Please also make sure your swap items are:

• **CLEAN**  Please wash your clothes and clean off shoes before bringing them to the swap so they are ready to wear out the door.
• **WEARABLE** Small stains, tears, or missing items (buttons, zippers, etc.) are OK if they are reasonably fixable. If an item seems beyond repair, put it in the recycle pile. 
• Season-appropriate -- right now it's end of summer, early fall, so bring items that people are likely to wear for the next couple of months. We have swaps scheduled in September and October for cold-weather and holiday fashion.

• Fun and funky
• Unique and one-of-a-kind
